Thought I'd throw this out there in case my fellow vets didn't know this.

You can get a free lifetime pass to over 2000 parks and federal lands. I picked mine up at the Wright Brothers Museum yesterday.
 
Thats great, wife has misplaced my DD214 and I need to find them asap, where ever they are I'm sure they are safe, to dang safe if I cant find them when I want them lol

You can have them replaced.
Had copies made only to find my originals a couple months later!

There are a number of America the Beautiful passes.


Of note to the campers over 62 YO are the annual and lifetime Senior passes that offer half off of camping fees at National Parks, US Forest Service campgrounds, Corp of Engineer campgrounds etc. The lifetime pass is $80 so a week of camping discounts will pay for it......

I'm "retired" from 29 years of Army service but use the Lifetime Senior Pass almost every other week during the spring and fall for camping. It pays for itself several times over each year.

Also in most states disabled veterans, different ratings for different states, can get a lifetime hunting/fishing sportsman's license for free or for a small fee. Mine in Tennessee was $5 bucks
