Hey all, my better half was at an estate sale yesterday and was looking at these. They were ready to shut down and told Nicole… “You like those”? Nic said well they are kinda neat. The lady said… “we are shutting down early… 50 cents for both and they are yours”! Nic said, well ok. So here’s what she brought home… Looking at these, someone definitely spent some time on crafting them.

Thought these were cool and was worth sharing.

Those are two beautiful ducks. I'm glad your wife have given them a new life with folks who appreciate the effort someone has put into their craft.

As a wood turner it breaks my heart to walk through an estate sale and see something that was obviously hand crafted sitting their for cheap. I've seen incredible turned bowls, signed and dated, and nobody is looking at them.

Good for your wife.....

I have only been to one estate sale, and it was run by a firm.
Most items were overpriced IMO. At least two items were more than you could buy them in a store.

WOW! Beautiful ducks! I'll give you a good profit for them. They'd look great in my shop with my other ducks!

Those are cool for sure!! I have a decoy addiction and have a bunch of them. From very old to new working decoys. I’ve carved and painted a few as well and that’s a time consuming task!! Ya wanna double your money LOL. Nice find and thanks for posting
