Featured Flank Steak Fajitas

Last night a set a 2.8Lb flank steak in my fajita marinade and let it sit. I did flip it a couple times overnight.

I fired up the pit with lump then added a piece of Mesquite and Hickory.

After a bit of chopping/slicing it's ready.

I made myself a nice little burrito.

I'd commit some serious crimes for a nice piece of flank steak, especially one done like that! I simply refuse to pay the prices they are asking for them in my neck of the woods.

Local Walmart had decent prices for an Angus one this week so I bought one.

Lover a good fajita... getting a good some/char flavor on the veggies to me is really what makes it... nice work!

The dry mix is enough for many portions.

50g - Salt
25g - Pepper
20g - Garlic Powder
30g - Onion Powder
3g - Basil
2g - Oregano
4g - Chili Powder
4g - Smoked Paprika
5g - Cumin
18g - Accent(MSG)

Wet Stuff
1/2 Cup - Vegetable Oil
1/4 Cup - Worcester Sauce
2 tablespoons - Agave or Honey
2 Limes - Zest from one and juice from two

Mix the wet with 1/2 cup of the dry mix and marinate at least one hour. better overnight.

Looks pretty darn good West Coast Chris. Like Chris said flanks are just too expensive around here.
