My wife wanted some steak tacos so last night I marinated a couple smaller flank steaks with lime juice, OJ, cilantro, garlic and let it sit over night. Fired up the kettle and cooked these for about 39 minutes after searing them over hot coals. One was thicker than the other but just let it sit over the charcoal for a little longer before I moved it to the cold side of the grill. Pull both when they hit around 138 let them sit and chilled them up. No played shots but everyone knows what a taco looks like. The best part is plenary left over for tomorrow. Thanks for looking

Great looking grilled steak. Nice and moist.

Flank steak is a very nice cut of meat. Unfortunately it has become very expensive out here in CA. Same with skirt steak.

Nice looking steak.

Oh yea, them tacos I am sure were amazing! Love the char on the flank! I am thinking if you do have leftovers… an omelette would be mighty tasty!

Flank steak is one of my favorites (I have a lot of favorites these days).
Love the char, and doneness looks perfect for my taste.
