Hi

I am going to try my first smoke in my weber mastertouch kettle tomorrow using a 2kg pork butt.

Does anyone have any recommendations in terms of the setup to use? I am currently planning on using the snake method but open to other suggestions if anything else might work better.

Planning on using weber briquettes and beech woodchips.

Thanks

James

There are several different ways of doing this and yes the snake method is one, go on you tube and watch a few different videos, you will see what I mean

I did my first one on Mother’s Day. Used the slow n sear. Came out great. Never wrapped it. Just cooked it to 200F which took awhile. Then I took it off let it rest in foil, then pulled it.
