My first time smoking Ribs, used Dizzy Pig Red Eye Express rub, also finished with a local honey & BBQ glaze with my dry rub mixed in as well. Did them on my Duo W/SFB at 225 for about 4.5 hours. My only problem was getting my glaze to get sticky, I assume I should have put it on sooner than the last 20 mins. It tasted fine but it was still kinda runny, I was shooting for sweet and sticky. Still pretty proud of them!

troutt, morning and welcome to the forum.... Ribs look good... If you are not happy with them, I will pay for the shipping...

Looks like they came out good. Nice smoke ring. If your not happy with them, I'll share with Dave! As for 'sticky'  you may need to add more sugar or maybe honey to the sauce. Just don't put it on too early and have it caremelize!  Nice looking ribs.

They look good to me but I'm not the sticky kind of guy. I really like the smoke ring.

Thanks for the comments, maybe more honey will do the trick. They must have been ok though, the wifey bought two more racks at the market and I was given a pass to "sit on my ass by my smoker all day Saturday"!

The Ribs look great and they must have tasted good for wifey to do that. but about stickyness I would agree more honey.

Best way I found to make sticky/gooey ribs is to start building your glaze about an hour before pulling.

I will glaze 4- 6 times one side only.
