My first attempt at brisket was a huge success. I have always been a fan of brisket, but this smoking it at home thing takes it to an entirely different level.
I truly love reading all of the recommendations and then making my own little changes. I have never seen so many people go back for more helpings at a party for anything like this.

My wife doesn't really care for heavy smoke so I'll probably never focus on a beautiful smoke ring, but the apple, hickory and pecan added great mild flavor

Nice job!

It looks delicious!

BTW, you won't get a smoke ring with an electric smoker.

Nice job with that brisket! I have an electric smoker as well and I've been tempted to do a brisket ever since I smoked two pork butts a while back. Great bark by the way.
What did you season with?
