I smoked my first chicken wings on Friday. I used apple wood and smoked the wings with salt and garlic powder on them. After they were done they were kept in the fridge until Saturday night when we put them on the barbecue and added some of our favorite barbecue sauce on them.

We always have wings deep fried but I have to tell you these were fantastic and we will be making them again.

Like most smoked foods, it really helps settle the flavors when chilled and re-heated. I still think pulled pork is better after a re-heat.
