Got the smoker going this morning around 7:30 - 8. Had the butt rubbed and in the fridge since yesterday evening. Lets see how this baby does.

Was at Aldi's the other day and they had a clearance on some pork rub, nothing fancy. It's called Tailgate Rubs. Was normally 3.99 a container and was on sale for .49/container

Thanks! I wish I would have been more active throughout my 2 year membership here, but I had an ex wife that was a bitch. Now that I dont have that problem, and a fiance that loves smoked meats ill be around quite often:emoji_sunglasses:
 
Got the temps in check after some wind gusts. Put up a tarp and spun the smoker 180* so the wind wasn't blowing into the chimney.
