First Butt of the Fall

Its been a while team but i am back and ready for action. Got a 9 lb bone in butt for 1.27/lb whichbis a pretty damn good deal done here in texas.

Here is the beauty. Nice layer of fat on top. Now to coat with mustard and my own simple 3 ingredient dry rub.

Here she is finished.

Nice bark. 7.5 hours. Probably could have went another hour. Wasnt as tender as i like.
