First BBQ Contest

Team BIG UGLY SMOKERS has entered it's first contest. The team of my 3 sons and myself have entered  in the Firin Up The Fox to be held in St. Charles IL. this September. It will be the very first time for us. We will be cooking Ribs and Chicken only for the amateur contest to be judged under KCBS rules. Have the Chicken down and close on the way I want to do my Ribs. No matter how we do it will be great to do it with my sons and pass on to them more of the things I enjoy doing. They all have helped or done smoke cook themselves but being together for the first contest makes it that much better.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
