I have smoked a total of 18 pork butts over the last two years and I have never had one stall for a long time. I usually put the butt on my UDS right at 7am and by 6pm it's ready for the cooler. I use 8 pounders and the brand has always been tyson from walmart but this one my mother bought for me the commissary at the national guard base and it is a 9 lb IBP butt. It's sitting at 153* and I'm thinking this one won't be done at the usual time. My wife isn't too pleased right now..
