Fillet Mignon (Getting my Money’s Worth)
I haven’t had Fillet Mignon in years, because it always so Expensive (usually $17.99 around here).
However they finally had a sale price of $10.99, so I got a Beef Tenderloin weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces.
So to get my money’s worth I cut it in half & I smoked the Thicker half (3 lb, 2 oz) for our 48th Wedding Anniversary.

Then I cut this Thinner half (3 lb, 1 oz) into 9 small Fillet Mignon Steaks, and some trimmings for Sammies for the near future.
After Marinating the Steaks in Teriyaki Marinade, I did the following for our Supper, and Vacuum packed the leftover Steaks to be warmed up at a later time.
The Sammies will be in another post in the near future.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bear
After Smoking the larger half back in December, I decided to slice this smaller half into Steaks:
