Feet First

I have cruised these forums about a year or so ago and now have finally gotten into smoking a bit more. Although not a purest like most of you I use gas and electric. I have an electric water smoker that I just got a couple months ago and I use a gas grill for normal grilling.

Today I finally took a big step.. well for me that is... I got me a whole chicken slapped some rub on it and well stuck a beer up its... lets just say it is resting on a beer can right now. This is my first attempt and i have high hopes. I will be sure to come back tonight and let ya'll know how it turned out.

Anyways, I love the forums as they are very helpfull and informative I am already talking friends into coming to the site and hopefully they will enjoy as much as I.
