fatty question.

Being a poor dog with gout, i tend to not use a lot of bacon in my cooking. I know where i'm going when i die for not doing so but i'd rather avoid gout when possible. So, when talking about fatties, is it still a fatty without a bacon wrap? or is it simply a gorilla turd? 

 without a bacon wrap, *technically*, its not a COMPLETE fatty **in my opinion**.. I have been calling mine GT's when talkin to friends for a few reasons.

1, its not a fatty to me without the bacon.

2, about the only time in life i can say i eat **it and am happy about it!

So, whats your opinions?

The consensus of that thread was "you made it so you can call it whatever you want!

I've heard of a fatty called a "bacon explosion", so if you leave the bacon off what is it? Just an explosion? 

I've smoked fatties without bacon and I still called them fatties, well the only person that heard me was my son and he ate it up so I don't think it mattered to him what I called it! So call it what you want, it's a big fat piece of meat so it's a fatty and that's more appetizing than calling it a turd!
