I was only using probe 1, but say your smoker temp was reading 225, push the green probe 1 button to show you what it's reading...push probe 1 button again and it goes back to smoker temp.

That is really funny. When I first set it up I pressed the button and one said FP1 and the other said FP2, and I thought, OK, pressed again and never saw that it then went to tell me temp. I just thought it told me the probes we're operational.

I'm giving is a full rundown this week, wife is away so I can smoke every day.

It was, I'm just learning the grill/smoker, so wasn't perfect but everyone else loved it.
