Father's Day for the Bear

Here's a little of My Father's Day Dinner at our Son's house.
He's still a good kid, even at 41 years of age!!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Thanks for looking,
Bear

Bear Cub's newest toy---"Big Black Egg":

Three smoking steaks for Bear, Bear Cub, and Bear Cub's wife:

Mrs Bear's lonely steak on the gas grill, avoiding the smoke:

Something (Scallops in Bacon) for Bear to munch on (Father's Day) while the steaks get done:

Bear Cub smoking them steaks on his new deck:

Another angle:

Bear Cub's fish pond off the back of the deck:

Stuffed taters in there with the steaks now, suckin' up some smoke:

Close-up---Time to pull & eat!!!!

Sorry, no table shots---You only missed the corn & rolls----And the "Strawberry Rhubarb Pie":

No he doesn't. Poking fun at either would be stupid.

He has time, energy, and patience to play with a wood burner. I like set it & forget it. He has a 1st Gen MES 40 that he never uses too. And now he bought a BGE, but he's going to build that into an outdoor kitchen on that big deck. He also has a Dual Firebox 275 gallon Pig smoker he never uses any more.

He knows he gets more flavor from his wood burner, on butts, chicken, etc, but he also knows I make great Bacon, Sausage, Dried Beef, CB, BBB, etc in my MES 40.

Thanks Joe!!!

He must think so. I also got a few smoking gifts from Son & his wife, and a Beautiful card that nearly brought tears.

Right both have their true purposes but our family and my friends all flip each other crap sometimes.   I could have seen a little poking fun one way or the other.
