I went to Churches Chicken few weeks ago. Got 2 piece dark with coleslaw, mash and extra roll, $15. I not doing that again!
WOW! too much $$$ for fast food.

Went to a local taproom last night and got a large 2 topping pizza and 6 wings for $25. Felt like a deal.

When we (wife and I) go out for a meal and a brew its normally at least $50. Its the state of affairs these days.

Back in the mid 80s there was a Churches right outside the back gate of the base and you could feed an entire family plus guests for $15!

Stop by most fast food joints at lunch time and the lines are astounding both up here and in Florida. I don't think they're losing that much customer base.

If we want chicken a trip to the deli in our local grocery store nets enough meat and coleslaw for 2 and under the $15 mark.

10 years ago we drove down to Fort Leonard Wood to pick up our son after OSUT graduation.
There is a Church's IN the post along with a few other civilian food choices meaning one pays instead of free at the mess hall. Son and I ate at Church's and not impressed with the food. We like the chicken better from our local grocery store.
