Greetings to all

Happy to have found SMF to answer some burning questions about smoking.

Been grilling forever then several years ago I got a Brinkman Gourmet electric smoker for Fathers' Day.  Loving it so far.  Usually do the standard stuff, beef ribs, pork ribs, country ribs, brisket (of course), chicken and some fish (not great results).  Looking forward to trying bacon, vegetables and other cuts of meat.

I went to school in Texas and like that style.  Recently we converted to using rubs rather than sauce.

Live in northern Virginia near Wash DC, land of 'smoke' and mirrors.

Looking forward to learning from the experienced and learned ones on this site.
