Electric smoker and A-Maze-N

I have a Masterbuilt smoker (appears very close in construction to thebrinkmann-810-7080-4-Gourmet-Electric-Smoker-and-Grill-Red) and was looking at maybe getting an A-Maze-N smoke generator for it.

Didn't know if that would be suggested or if I should stick to my method of using a cake pan to hold my wood chips.  The only reason I don't like the chips is that I have to replace em about every hour and a half.  From what I read the A-Maze-N smoked for about 6 hours which would help me out IMMENSELY.

I could not relax without the AMNS in my MES smokers.

It is truly a blessing to a meat smoker, unless you're using a woodburner smoker.

Get one----You will never regret it!

I have a SmokinTex which is very similar to the MES and the AMNS is my ONLY smoke source for both hot and cold smokes - can't give it enought praise. I no longer worry about adding wood chunks or too much smoke

I have the same set up you describe and would definately recommend an Amazin Smoker for it.  It makes smoking that much easier as you don't need to babysit as much.  In fact, we were at the horse races this weekend.  I left after one race was over started the MES and Amazin Smoker and put on the prime rib and was back in time to bet the next race.  When we got home, I had race winings and smoked prime rib ready for supper.  You can't do that without the MES.  My brother saw that and said he's going home to order his MES and Amazin Smoker.  You won't regret getting one.

Yeah I've pretty much decided to get one once I get a couple more paychecks.  It's so hard to buy these things when you're a broke college student
