Egg Sandwich Breakfast, and Muscadine Jelly on Toast (via East Texas)

Been awhile since I posted a Breakfast Thread, so here We Go !!!

This is more than I usually eat for Breakfast, nowadays, so I figured I’d post it for you guys.

So I started by lightly toasting 4 slices of Italian Bread, because that’s the way I like my toast—Very Light !!
Then I coated one side of each slice of toast with Butter, and dropped an “Over-Hard” Egg on each.
Then I ground a bunch of Fresh Black Pepper on Top, and I closed them up & enjoyed them.

I had a little room left, so I did the following:
I toasted a couple more slices of Italian Bread, coated one with Promise, and the other with a special Jelly I got from my Buddy, “Gary S”.
Then I closed it up & ate it slowly, to make it last. (Besides that, I was getting Full) Great Stuff.
The Jelly is Muscadine, grown in Gary’s garden, and He and Bobbie (Gary’s Wife) made it & sent me a jar.
It is Awesome Jelly!!!

Thanks Gary & Bobbie!!

Nice

Bear that looks like an anytime eat. Its nice to have friends who make items and share.

I have a friend in Wasilla AK who makes some killer bbq sauce and send me a few pints.

Looks like a good breakfast bear. Muscadine anything is a staple for us. We make muscadine and scuppernong wine every couple of years

Thanks for the nice Compliment Bear. We enjoy making and sharing. My BIL loves it , but he grew up on it, as did I and Bobbie.

Looks like a great breakfast Bear! A friend from Louisiana knows about muscadines, I do not. I'll ask him about them, sounds interesting. Always looking for new things to try, especially breakfast oriented.
Thanks for sharing. Big like!

Looks good Bear! I never heard of muscadine either. Guess they don’t grow up our way.

Can't say I have ever.heard of muscadine. Had to look it up sounds good.

Thank You Rider!!
I had to look it up too, but it really is good stuff.
My favorite store-bought Jelly is Raspberry (Black & Red), however I don't care enough for Grape to buy it. However this Muscadine is a type of Grape, but much better than other Grapes "IMHO".

They are a southern thang

Yup---There are a bunch of things that just don't grow up here too good.
Like my favorite Border Trees in my yard---The "Leyland Cypress".
I got them to grow, but it took 42 plantings to end up with my 30 tree plan.
Cold weather ruined 8 of them & the Deer wrecked 4.

Definitely a good looking breakfast Bear! I'd definitely be full after that! And now I too know what muscadine is!
