I think everyone enjoys a chewy crust and soft crumb! Preheated the Dutch oven to 200°f while the dough was rising. When it was ready I placed it in the pot, cranked the oven to 450°f. Set the timer for 45 minutes. After that the lid came off and it went another 10 minutes.

The kiddos love it with butter.

If you have ever had issues with the bottom of your Dutch oven loaf getting too dark the solution is to use a trivet. I never make Dutch oven bread without it.

I'm thinking I'll make a chicken sammie with the leg quarters that are on the Primo now!
 
Just tried using a trivet. Makes a world of difference. Curious to try heating low then turning up.
