Not how you want to go down a mountain. Glad they took good care of you. Hope the rest goes well also.

One of the old sayings when I was still skydiving "You can't scare the crowd unless you're scaring yourself!"

Man I hope you heal fast and are ready to hit the slopes again next season!

Dang man. Hope you heal up quickly
Thank you
Double ouch, hopefully all heals well
Same here!

Verry sorry to hear this. What hill was it on, if I may ask?

I've upped my ski time considerably since moving to north Idaho last year--5 hills within 90 minutes--but since I now qualify for senior ticket pricing, I'm becoming a bit more aware how quickly things can go badly.

Copper Mountain. Things can go wrong real fast. 4 years ago a guy fell on me getting off the lift and broke my fibula.

Oh no! Good luck on a speedy recovery.
I tore up my knee at A-Basin 20 years ago and got to take a ride behind the Ski Patrol sled. Sadly I did not even have my skis on, I was getting ready to lock in when a guy came in out of control and used me as a method to stop....

Wow!! It happens more than i thought. The Copper ER was full when i arrived And thank you!

My father gave me a choice when I was around 11. He said you could either play hockey or ski. I'm glad I chose hockey. Heal fast Dave, and you may want to think about changing hobbies.

Oh my! Praying for a speedy recovery! Hoping we can be a source of comfort/entertainment in the meantime.

Too hard to work the quotes in but I greatly appreciate the support. I do love snowboarding and mountain biking. The emotions right now are too raw…and it’s gonna be a long time before I do either again, plenty of time to reflect. Just wish the surgery was in the rear view.
