My RecTeq 380 lasted 5 weeks then would not maintain temp control. Ruined my ribs. After 9 phone calls and several E-mails. Still no resolution to the problem. Customer support is a joke.

DO NOT BUY this brand!

Is this your first pellet grill? There are a few things that you must, and must not do to get them to work properly. Pellet brand can make a big difference.
In the RecTech price range, it is the most recommended brand.

I hope you have a thick skin. Your comment/opinion is NOT going to be well received on this website. Now, I'm going to grab the popcorn, sit back with Astralogics, and watch the show. 😊

I understand your mad but give it some time. My RecTeq has been flawless for several years. I know they pride them self's on service. There may be something going on behind the walls they trying to work out? I try to give people - company's a chance to redeem.

Was this the attitude of your phone calls and emails? Pretty sure you're the first person to have an issue with Rectec customer service... on this site anyway.
How were your ribs ruined... did you not check on them, or have a temp probe in use?

Surprisingly, even after all the lurking, I still haven't pulled the trigger on getting one. But there are many reasons RecTeq is so well loved and often recommended. I doubt they would purposely leave someone disappointed.

So join just to slam a good brand!
Pathetic

IMHO, No one is really going to bite on the post as it is someone's first post. It could be anyone, maybe even someone who sells Traeger grills. :)
He has been around since the first part of October so I approved the post. I figured the RecTeq owners around here would get him on the right track I think this is the first post I've seen with someone with a complaint about them
