David I completely forgot about this thread and happy to see it resurrected.

I like full lamb myself. I'm going to try this with 50/50 beef and venison as lamb is really hard to find in MN.

Yeah - the advantage is you get that beef fat and fat is flavor, as they say

I missed this the first time around David, a wonderful story and a ton of fine work there. I've never had or seen a Donair but for TV, tho I do love all things lamb, strawberry too! RAY

No problem on missing it first time , I miss some also. Just glad it came back, all good memories

Donairs are a very good fast food meal. Mona really enjoys them .

And the strawberry dessert , I should whip up another bunch. They were very good also, BUT I love sweets.

And also as the big loaf cooks with all the spice in it , the juice / fat is great for helping the pita bread when fried and to add a little to the meat as it cooks when refrying it.
