Does a person need to foil for pulled pork?

I'm using cushion meat and was wondering do you have to foil. I'm kinda stuck at 164, but not really in a big rush

Never did cushion meat. But if it's like a shoulder with all the fat you won't need to. How about some pics?

It's around 15% fat, so it it leaner than most butts. If in doubt foil it, but I'd bet that it'll be ok.

We do the cushion roasts all the time and never foil them. I don't pull them though I slice them.

I did one before and it took all day and half the night finally got tired and pulled and rested. Then pulled it and probably could have pulled 3 hours sooner. But thanks for the info.

Case, I recently saw cushion meat at our RD, What cut of the hog is cushion meat? What IT do you look for when slicing?
