Do you use toppings on your chili?

My chili is so rich, it doesn’t need much other than the standards of cheese and onions. I do put out sour cream, but I don’t use it!

Chili on a spud is good too.

If im just looking for a quick lunch, ketchup and mustard, if its more of a supper thing, I will throw on some sauerkraut or sautéed onions. Since I started making the home made ketchup is a game changer.

I'm guessing you mixed up the chili and hot dog threads??

Just had chile last night. Elbow macaroni first topped with finely fresh grated cheddar, diced onions, sour cream and creamy jalapeno sauce.
I have a lot of fresh jalapenos left over from salsa day. So I tried this. New favorite in the house.

Usually chilly gets eaten like a dip at our house, I'll put Jalapenos, pickeld or fresh, cheese, and maybe onions, the wife likes hers with sour cream and cheese then we eat it with nacho chips

Lime corn tortilla chips are what we've been doing. I've eaten a lot of different toppings on chili, but these days I'm more about tasting my chili rather than seriously altering the flavor.

Just made a pot yesterday. Wife is like yours, cheese and sour cream. For me, just eating like a dip with the lime chips is all I need. Great chili makes a difference...I've had chili made by others and some of them NEED help!

These chips were made for dipping in chili.
