Do I want/need another BGE??

Warranty parts for our XL showed up. Went in and picked them up today. They have one large BGE left at a reduced price. On the fence about getting it. If I do I will be sending mu UDS to the scrap pile. Hmmmm

Thanks...got our XL back up and running. New base is a bit different. Where the band fits is noticeably taller. And the new fire box is an inch shorter...

The inaugural lighting of our new Large Big Green Egg. Going to just let it cruise along at 225* til it burns out. Will be doing simple burgers and dogs on it tomorrow for dinner

Congrats, I have an Akorn to go with by Big Joe. When it finally rusts out, I will either get a Classic, or a Joe Jr. to replace it. I am leaning towards the Jr., as most of my cooks are for just the 2 of us.
