Didnt You Learn Anything?

So for Christmas i got my one son a stuffer and his wife got him a grinder.

Ok he goes to PA and shoots 15 honkers, processes the breast meat, freezes and so on.

Last night he calls me and says HEY

Why is my grinder pushing the meat out in mush?

Dad says turn the blade around. Flat side against the plate.

Son says i did put it in right.

Dad says take it apart and tell me how the blade is.

Noise noise.

Son, Ummm yeah your right dad.

Dad says didnt you watch how i did things?

Silence

HEHE, they go through different stages

Stage #1:     1 year old till about 11 : we (parents) are the smartest people in the world

Stage #2      11 till about 25, we are the dumbest old @#$$## alive

Stage #3       26 till 40 we seam to have grown a few brain cells and have limited intelligence

Stage #4       40 and older, we are back to being those crazy old $&&$#@ again

My kids are approaching #4, so I have to enjoy it while I can   :)

Oh gawd, I go through that almost daily with my 21 year old son. If I were to say the sky is blue, he'd argue about it. It's only been since my daughter moved out on her own that she's come to realize we're not as stupid as she thought.

I think many?  At least me?  Sometimes think we are the only ones?
