It was just that the package was so large and the pellets appeared to be for their smoker. Wasn't sure if it was for heat, for flavoring or both. If it is 100% natural pecan with no fillers, etc., I figure I will be OK. I plan on mixing with cherry and apple. Actually not mixing, just filling the AMZNPS first with pecan, then apple and finishing with cherry. I figure that I will do 1 and 1/2 to 2 rows of the AMZNPS and do a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 "layering". I figure smoking for 3 hours of a 6 hour cooking cycle under smoke should be about right.
