Did I just buy a truckload of firewood? Mold?

Keep in mind I have zero experience, so take this with a grain of salt. I don’t care to burn sapwood that is decaying like that. I split if off and throw it in the backyard fire pit to use for camp fires. May not be harmful at all, but I am overly cautious of all things green/black and decaying. Again, I have zero experience to back up my actions, just a preference.
