I dehydrate lots of stuff...   Over the years, sticking has been a source of frustration......   Trying to remove the food from the racks was a pain ITA....

I finally used parchment....  It was a lot better....  Only problem in the forced air dryer was the parchment "moving" with the air.....

In a convection dryer, the parchment blocks the air movement and that's not good... nothing dries.....

So our good friend, Todd Johnson, now has these "Q-Matz"....    they are Aces......   works in the smoker and sticky sauces don't stick.... cheese don't stick.....

stuff don't fall through the meshes....   great air flow......   etc....

Well..........  I bought some for dehydrating.....  Raisins can be..  ARE.... very sticky...  stick to everything except Todd's Q-Matz......

Great air flow......  fold/roll 'em up, and pour the dried fruit into a container....  Talk about HANDY......   I love 'em....

Thanks Todd for another great product from  http://www.amazenproducts.com/

Dave....great idea!  I hadn't thought about that.....very cool!  Clean up in the smoker/cookers are a breeze.....this would be easy to clean in the dehydrators too.
