So my MasterForge electric was from Lowes and died after 2 smokes.

The display just quit.

Goal is to now replace display with an arduino and run it using Blynk.

Luckily they replaced it with a model that I will receive in 60 days as it has not yet been available in Canada, and I will get mine with first shipment.

Has anyone tried or used this model?

Appreciate your time, Thanks

I am pretty happy with DynaGlo

Although the first died the service was great.

I paid 165 on clearance as it was floor model(only one left) and they replaced with one that sells for $599 Canadian at Wayfair and Walmart.

Now hopefully it last a while.

Ill be sure to update my experience with the smoker.

Unsure about the dynaglo electric smoker .
I usualy stay away from eletric smokers only because I am a old school type of cook and enjoy thr whole process of loading with wood/lump coals ..Then watching the temps ..The whole process just seems more satisfying to me once the cook is finished.
I've used dynaglo products before and currently have a dynaglo offset verticle smoker. I bought mine roughly 3 yrs ago .
The first yr or so was great..produced some good chew..however the high temp paint started to bubble of the firebox door.. I now have to use a concrete block leaned on the firebox door cause the door has warpes fromt the heat.
I've learned that with vertical smokers you have to use pans if smoking several different meats.. Which ends up taking alot of space in the smoker and the smoke doesn't penatrate the meats as much when sitting in pans ( my opinion that is. )
I've also learned that these smokers don't have a big enough smoke stack and long smokes can ealy ruin food due to having proper smoke flow. I still have the smoker but i don't use it as much anymore and moved onto a better unit. I found a picture of the smoker and it's not the best , a little dirty on the outside due to rain from the previous day i believe..

I also have a 100lb Propane(Sausage) smoker, and a charcoal.

I just wanted the electric for busy days.

Hoping it holds up.

I also am not a fan of smokers that need to be put away.

Hell my 100lb needs a forklift to move it.

Oh i hear ya on not a fan of having to move my smokers at all , lol.
I can understand those busy days , and being able to set the temp and walk away from it until it's finished !
However , I can't do that with my new smoker i recieved for fathers day !
The smoker has wheels but it's super heavy .
It's a old country under and over smoker.
