Well I finished this build a few weeks back and it turned out decent for my first build. Used brand new drums, a Vozelgang Wood Stove Kit and Double Drum Kit, a couple of grate level thermometers and a firebox grate. This guy is really built to burn wood in the bottom, and with that, it will keep temps well, and I've got a charcoal box for the top to use it as a grill. Wife and i decided we're going to go pickup an ABS or Horizon instead as the wife isn't fond of the drum look in the backyard(oh well, new ABS!!) I've got a few bucks in this thing-new barrels were $55/each- no oil or any other chemicals in them ever, the barrel stove kit was $60, the double barrel add on was another $40 or so, the plates in the top for tuning are just welding plates, but 1/4 inch iron, so about $30/each there, plus misc grates and whatnot, i've probably got about $350 or so in this thing after it's all said and done, could have done it cheaper probably but oh well. I'm asking $150, local pickup in Denver only, bring a truck cause you're gonna need it.
Here's links to the build, as you can see it turns out some decent Q!!
