Anyone making crackers? I harvested 50# of rye seed. Research i read how it is needing mixed with wheat to not be so dense for bread. Maybe I'll like that??

I was thinking if it makes dense bread. Maybe i should make crackers for eating Braunschweiger on?

When I make sourdough bread, I usually make some sourdough crackers.
Also make rye bread, but not rye crackers.

Cool, I pdf'd that and saved for my self and sent to my daughter.

Are Ya'll using store flour or fresh ground flour? I am trying to avoid all store bought, enriched flour.

I buy 50lb bags of King Arthur Sir Galahad flour from local Food Service Warehouse.
Also get the 50lb bag of Kyrol for pizza making.

if you like Braunschwiger try this sandwich! rye bread slopped with spicy brown mustard. plenty sliced red onion and slab o braunschwiger. we make them up and 1/4 them for finger sandwiches while ice fishing or wood cutting.
