Taco Salad Bowls

Making some Taco salad bowls tonight. Super easy.

The build. Everybody to their own way, but I like taco meat on bottom, beans on top because they aren’t refried they are juicy beans let that run down into the meat. Next a layer of sour cream topped with chopped onion and green Chile chopped. Some shredded cheese and a squeeze of lime. That’s the base.

Then we top that with shredded lettuce diced tomatoes and sliced olives. A little avocado over to the side, more lime juice over and a sprinkle of salt over the salad. The layers are delicious.

That looks killer. Now you got me craving one but mine will have to make without the shell! I use to make one with French Dressing. I might have to look back at that.

NICE. While the bowl is sorta gimmicky to me I know dang well the oil and baking really amps up the tortilla flavor so there's merit to doing it. I REALLY want to deep fry some taco shells but too much of a PITA.

I use to make one with French Dressing.

We had a SERIOUS taco salad phase. Dare ya to try 50:50 french:taco sauce.
