Cornish/Ribs

Same old chicken and ribs on the smoker, but this time I changed up to the Cornish hens. Both have Jeff’s original rub ( modified my way) will finish one or both with my apricot glaze.

Nothing special. 1/2 pint of home made apricot jam. Pinch of salt, and fresh cracked pepper. 2Tbs. Of low sodium soy sauce (I use kikkoman) and 1 Tbs of granulated garlic. Pretty simple, but very effective.

Lookin good . Just put a whole bird in my dutch oven . Getting ready to rain again .
Those are gonna be great . Love the apricote glaze . Try it with some bourbon and brown sugar .

All done. Glazed it all. That apricot will go up against any sauce.

The plate shot. Roasted potatoes with baked beans using my Bbq Juice mixed in. Was very tasty Smokey goodness.
