I'd like Horseradish on mine please Looks great Case
Richie

I sampled several pieces last night with Beaver extra hot horseradish. It was delish!

The Russian dressing recipe I make has horseradish in it. Good stuff!

Here's the recipe:

1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup pickle relish (My wife and I prefer dill. Original recipe calls for sweet)
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon (I go heavy and use extra hot) horseradish
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (you can sub Henderson's relish)

The one New York deli we had here (no longer here now) the guy didn’t even allow mustard in his shop!
Probably the most famous deli in the US.Don't get me wrong,I love a Reuben but the rye has to be seedless.
Well there ya have it-had to close because he didn't serve mustard :)

That's just sacrilege in itself! But we're not talkin' French's here either... A good home made spicy brown all the way! It's so easy to make too! In fact there's a batch brewin in my fridge that just hit 2 weeks today! I might even add some horseradish to some of it. I wouldn't turn down your Russian and Kraut version either though Case. It would be hard to choose between them actually.

Yeah I like mustard too. In fact take some of the corned beef sauté it with sliced onion, sliced apple and sauerkraut. Put it in a grinder roll and slather it with mustard. So good!

Man you're confused! This will be sandwiched between two pieces of rye, with homemade sauerkraut, homemade Russian dressing and a good piece of swiss.

Asking for mustard would get you banned in certain delis!
It’s not just mustard. I had a deli refuse to put Pepperjack cheese on a Pastrami sandwich in Columbus, OH once.
BTW, I’ve written down your Russian Dressing recipe.

Okay let’s wrap this up! Homemade Kraut, Russian dressing, corned beef. Sorry had no time to bake Rye or make the Swiss. Flat hand sliced, enough left for 6 more sandwees. Vac packed and into the freezer.

Tomorrow, the point pastrami.

Dang man would that hold up on a UPS or FedX trip?? I'll send my address if think it would. Wait a minute I've got to wipe my key board off (drooling)
