Corned Beef Brisket

They were ok. Crunchy on the outside. With good flavor. Nothing to run to the store for. The included sauce packet wasn't great though. It was supposed to be 1000 island. I just used what we had in the house. I'd give them a 6 out of 10.
I going to have to try them.
Went and got two more yesterday along with some Speck for Ann. And some frozen Schnitzel. And this.
I been meaning to try that frozen Schnitzel.
 
I found a 3"+ thick, 5 lb brisket flat at Safeway yesterday for $30. Now for the difficult decision; do I make corned beef? Or do I try making another beef bacon? It's thick enough that I could cut along one side of the middle layer of fat and have 2 slabs. But the middle layer isn't hard fat, so I don't know.
