I have to admit that I and many here seem to be addicted to cookwares. From Halogen ovens to backyard cast pots. SMF has one of the largest groups of internet borne addicts of anything that will cook something. So lets make this a running thread of a measuring contest, lets not leave out the cast iron, Instapots.... You bought it you name it. I for one now have to decide how I deal with these items because I need way more kitchen. I will admit and would like to hear an opinion from ya'll. I begin to wonder if my kitchen range can be eliminated completely from my kitchen. I could store a dozen small appliances in that same space that have more daily use.

Ohhhhhhh . Keep it civil people!

I will say that the oven in the kitchen range barely gets used aside from baking cookies and such. The cooktop does still see daily use by my wife and stepson. Most of what I prepare is done on one of the smokers, or in sous vide.

I could use two eye burners occasionally, but I gotta say i think i can get by without it.

Oh I'm a huge "cooking toy" addict myself. My most recent purchase was the 22" BS griddle which forced me to COMPLETELY re-configure my back porch cooking space (including building new worktables with storage underneath).

Still getting used to cooking on it. I've done only 2 cooks on it so far (smash burgers and Krystal cheeseburgers, but as my first job was at Krystal MANY years ago, I still remember how to make them right!).

My oven barely gets used either. Maybe around Thanksgiving and Christmas and when we have family gatherings and people need to keep their dish they brought warm.

Most everything I cook is on one of my grills. I've been tinkering with the air fryer here lately and am starting to get the hang of it.

I don’t even know where to begin. I have been downsizing lately & still have way too much stuff. Our Grandson is taking some, but we do use our oven & stove top quite a bit, but try to use the air fryers in their place. I just sold 4 smokers, and bought 1 to replace them. Down to 1 fridge & 1 freezer. Way too many small appliances & pots & knives, and outdoor cookers. Drinking & buying stuff online is where I get in trouble!

Sous vide, Kitchen Aid, dehydrator, cast iron pans, non stick pans, bread pans, sheet trays, waffle iron, muffin tins, air fryer, toaster oven, roaster pan, crock pots in various shapes and sizes, rice cooker, Dutch Ovens, deep fryer, pizza oven, campfire cooker, ice machine, Immersion blenders in multiple sizes, Vacuum Sealer...

I think I have all the toys. Friend use to try to get me something for Christmas but I always all ready had it. One of my favorite things is that Electric griddle. So nice being able to have a flat top in the house!

We use our range/oven all the time in the winter months and on days that I work. The other 8 months I try to do as much cooking outside as I can. I will use my gas grill in the winter to cook up some burgers or steaks now and again during the winter, but that's about it. As for extra gadgets. I'm trying my best to avoid them. It's hard enough to keep a path open in our house with my wife's antique collections.

I've done this too many times myself!

I use the stove/oven very often. Besides my cookers listed in my signature, pots, pans, woks, Kitchen Aid Pro 600, baking sheets, bread pans, cake pans, muffin pans, knives, cutting boards, meat grinder, meat mixer, sausage stuffer, blenders, french fry cutter, all kind of hand tools, thermometers, pizza pans and screens, peels, crock pot, air fryer, Vac Pro 350, nacho cheese dispenser, I guess thats some of the core stuff off the top of my head. There is more......

Right now (slowly) am putting together my cast iron collection. I got my eye on a nacho chip warmer and a slicer.

The pinnacle of my self-constructed cookware.

Love to cook in this baby....

Never too much cash iron!
Lately I seem to have started collecting enamel coffee pots...I'll have to get a pic of them. We definitely still use our oven and cook top often. Only have 5 smokers, weber gas grill, 36 inch Blackstone...by the way SherryT SherryT Would love to see a thread on Krystal burgers on flattop! Sous vide, 1 1/2 hp Cabelas grinder, Hakka stuffer, All American pressure canner. Starting to realize how much all the enablers here have cost me! :emoji_laughing:
But that cost is nothing compared to what I've learned here.
Gonna need a rotisserie for my kettle still...and probably a 26 inch kettle as well!

That is our problem Al, ordering after 10pm especially on a weekend. Other wise I blame Steve H Steve H , Bearcarver Bearcarver , 912smoker 912smoker and others, they are the true enablers! Watch out for that Steve guy, he is by far the worst...lol

You thinking of getting a drone with a camera now too? :emoji_laughing:

I'm gonna follow up Brokenhandle Brokenhandle and clifish clifish here. My kitchen cabinets have gotten a lot fuller since I've been on SMF. Gonna have to clean out some cabinets so I can get more stuff. Wonder if Santa will bring me a spinner for the kettle?

Jim
I just cleared out a 7 fish tank system to make room for a 5' quad tired shelving system in the basement.....it is already full.

Holy cow, is there any counter space left in your kitchen? My counter space seems to be shrinking weekly, but I'm not ready to admit what I've purchased lately, other than the sous vide.....

The beginning of my CI collection. I’ve added to it since this pic was taken. But use a lot of it regularly.

Jim
Jim, the little comal/griddle on the third shelf down, right side, how do you like it? I'm looking for something like it to cook smashburgers on my Weber, and it looks lighter than my CI skillet.
