I just moved and in the move my propane grill crapped the bed, and a few days before packing my cheap masterbuilt 'Pro' electric model went down the tubes too, so i am without grill or smoker !!! Since space is a premium at my new place, the wife would like us to get some kind of combo smoker and grill. I'm not married to LP gas, or electric smokers, so who's got one and what do you think ? I smoke butts, ribs, wings, chicken, whole turkeys, etc.

Check out a RecTeq pellet grill.

I have a nice Weber Kettle Deluxe, that can Smoke or Grill, but I'm alway looking at more set and forget options. I think the Pit Boss Lockhart Platinum, combo Pellet Grill/Smoker has the smallest footprint. I don't think they have the WiFi Software working well yet, but reviews seem positive...JJ

While not perfect, the Masterbuilt gravity series seems to do a very good job at both smoking and grilling.

I'd look into the 26" Weber Kettle. Plenty of room, and is more then capable of smoking or grilling.

Most of the recommendations above are just pellet ... combining Adam’s mention of the OKJ and JJ’s mention of the PB Lockhart, you might look at the PB KC Combo Platinum or 1230, which combines pellet and LP.
