CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY!!

Well this is just unbelievable!
One of the members on here, who asked to remain anonymous, asked me if I have ever smoked a Wagyu brisket.
I said not yet, but it’s on my bucket list.
Next thing I know this shows up at my door.

Took it out of the box, and the photo’s just don’t do it justice.

I’m going to share this with my neighbors, so on Saturday, the day before Easter.
I’m going to spend the day smoking this beauty in the Lang.
Actually I’m a bit nervous, since I really don’t want to screw up an expensive piece of meat.
Especially since it was a gift, and the folks I’m having over are all new neighbors & have never had my BBQ.
Sooo the pressure is on!

I’ll post the cook after Easter!

Wow!! What a great gesture. Fret not about cooking it though Al. You're very well versed in making BBQ and a legend here. This will just increase that legendary status sir. Cannot wait to see it. Funny though, after reading the thread by schlotz yesterday and now this one, I am somewhat inclined to order one. That's one cut from CPB that I'm not fond of but we do love our briskets, that's for sure. The SRF products are extremely highly rated so it may be time.....
