Broke my daughter’s heart, but tasted great!! Honestly I think we lose a little respect for the food we eat when it always comes off a shelf in a grocery store.

At some point in time I would like to convince my wife that this is the route we need to take.

We've done eggers for a couple years. This is the first year for meat birds. Honestly, its been hard on my wife and daughter. I wish we would have done them sooner though. These birds are bigger than anything I've ever bought at the store and taste better. My wife feeds them every day, so sometimes she gets a little attached...but really eating them is the whole purpose of these birds.
