My name is Rich and I just moved back home after an 11 year stint in the Southwest.

Home is a little river valley in Western PA

I've been cooking and smoking on everything from open pits to commercial wood fired box smokers for about 20 years.

My budddy, who's a heck of a fabricator, and I are working on a Reverse Flow Smoker design. My first of this type.

Hope to gain some insght on this type of smoker. After what I've read it should make it easier to smoke some deserts. I can get them to work on my direct flow, but it's touchy.

When you smell the wood
