Check Out My Butts (Qview Heavy)

Last weekend while my Computer was down I decided to smoke a bunch of butts to fill the freezer for the cold weather coming so I have some on hand.

We did 41# of Butt smoked in my MES 40 using the AMNS with Hickory.

We smoked them at 225º for 13 hrs after coating them with my favorite rub. Two of them also had a liberal amount of Chipotle Powder applied with the rub because I like HOT.

During the time in the smoker I reloaded the AMNS at about the 7hr mark and finished with a little left in it.

The time stamp in some of the pictures are wrong and I even had to change cameras half way through because my battery ran out on the first one.

We had also intended to smoke a whole shoulder at the same time but someone (Other Half) left it lay out and forgot to put it in the refrigerator when bringing them in from the car.

Don't ask why some of the butts look yellow because they only look that color in the pics.

We shared with a couple of the neighbors and they said it was the best yet... ( Of course would say that, would you say anything different and risk not getting any next time?) I do have to say it was great though.

Very nice there Paul. Now you have to keep up the stock now. I'm feel bad for you folks up here and the lack of smoking time in the winters. But I'm just packing up after a 31/2 weeks in New Jersey and Hew York and I have felt the cold that this part of the country can offer. Thanks it was fun great and Now I'm going home and the warmer weather.
