I was at my local TARGET STORE today and checked on Turkey prices since we are doing our xmas on the 13th. I found the SIMPLY BALANCED brand at .89lb! I bought a turkey marked at 44.00 and got it for half price!  A 20 pounder. could have gotten a market pantry brand for .59 lb but didn't need the gravy pack and the Simply Balanced had less than 6 % solution and the Market Pantry brand advertised that there was at least 8% less solution

Im pumped and ready to smoke that big bird. Sale goes off on the 8th so I might have to go buy a couple more!

WooHoo! Since it's an enhanced bird don't brine it. Just use a simple rub and smoke that bird up!

Nice deal! A 20 pounder is a BIG bird to smoke low and slow. If your smoker will not maintain 300-325°F it is a good idea, for safety, to Spatchcock that Turkey...JJ
