Newbie here from Minnesota and I am in the process of building a reverse flow smoker that I am going to mount on a trailer. I want to build a charcoal grill to mount on the trailer also along with maybe a double propane burner set up.
My question is would 10 gauge thick be thick enough or should I just go with 3/16" thick steel? My smoker is an old air tank 24" x 48" x 1/4" thick & the fire box is actually made out of 5/16" thick steel. I'm not looking to do any catering or anything else. Just want something that will last a long time.
Thanks
Mechdad
