Char-broil american gourmet deluxe thermometer question

I havent put it together yet since I have been looking at the mods for them and kinda want to get everything together b4 putting it together. I found this replacement thermometer for which says it fits most smokers and out door grill pits. Will this work for grill/smoker? Here is the link from walmart for it. I like it because its black which will match the grill. Its the last item in this section

It should work fine, but as with all therms they need to be checked for accuracy periodically.

That will work to get a reading on the smoker but I would still get a wireless remote for meat temps as that is what matters.

Ya I wanted to get that 4 probe thermometer station thats on there too. Do u guys think I could use that. I figured I could place 1 probe on each end grill hight then still have 2 for meats?

I didn't see that on there. Never seen one with 4 probes before.
