I got lucky and picked up this large Carter-Hoffman bb1600 equaheat cabinet that I am going to turn into a smoker. Everything works as it should. I know the factory 1500w element isn't going to be enough and plan to upgrade it to a 2000w to stay 120v and add 1 or 2 additional elements on the bottom on there own circuit with there own pid controller for additional heat beyond doing hot sticks and jerky, etc. For this size of a smoker what do you guys suggest for additional elements? Between the bottom trays and door I should have more than enough inlet air coming in without the need to add additional flow. As for outlets, should I go ontop, the back or sides? I know it will be a lot of trial and error with this build. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
