We haven't been able to use charcoal for a bit due to the wildfires. The City lifted the fire ban so wings and a little back yard socializing.

Made up a Carolina Gold sauce for a glaze. I simmered this down in half. Brushed two coats on chicken the last 15 minutes.

1 cup yellow mustard
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp. dark brown sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon hot sauce
I also added two ounces of Rye Whiskey.

Fired up the Solostove fire pit to enjoy with our guests. Used the briquettes from the WSM to get the fire going!
WSM set up with Kingsford BB chunk of cherry. 325 pit temp.

Looks great. Do you like the Solostove?
Love it. Have three different models. This is the Bonfire which was my second. We use this one at home and for long camp trips. Prior to owning this I had the Lite model which is just back pack cooking stove. We also have the Ranger model which we use for day trips.

Thats some damn good lookin food you got there bud! I'm going to have to give that sauce a try, sounds great.

Those look pretty tasty. Great job!
I’m doing some legs tomorrow, I think I’ll try your sauce.

Great job! Looks good!

Howdy Case, been a while Brother! Those wings look terrific...nicely done! That glaze is now on my “to do” list, although mine might end up with a splash of bourbon instead of rye. :emoji_sunglasses: Thanks for sharing that recipe!
